Astera ("we", "us") is building an astrology-based dating experience. This policy explains what we collect when you join our pre-launch waitlist and how we use it. We keep this deliberately short and plain.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we ask for your name (optional), email address, phone number, city, gender, and optionally your sun sign. We also record basic marketing attribution (such as which campaign referred you) and the date you joined.

How we use it

We use your contact details only to notify you when Astera launches and to share occasional pre-launch updates. Your city and gender help us decide where and how to roll out. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Marketing platforms

We run ads on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Google. Aggregate, hashed or de-identified data may be used to reach people similar to our waitlist. You can opt out of ad personalisation in each platform's settings.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove you from the waitlist and delete your details at any time by emailing hello@astera.app. Every message we send includes an unsubscribe option.

Data security

Your information is stored securely and access is limited to the people who need it. When the full app launches, sensitive information such as your birth details is handled under the app's own privacy terms.
